John Clarke: Passing Through
TurnPark Gate House Gallery

"In John Clarke's paintings, photography and music serve as a point of departure for
creating landscapes that undulate with emotion. His work revolves around a
combination of abstract drawing/painting and photography, with a firm connection to
sound as a stimulus.
The TurnPark Art Space exhibit will anchor Clarke's work in the park using the ambient
sound emanating from Mass Turnpike, which abuts the property."
A temporary pavilion, where the artist will work on-site, will be built on the TurnPark
grounds. Designed to echo the shape and volume of the TurnPark Gate House, the
pavilion's transparent walls will invite visitors to witness the creative process.
