Join us for a celebration of Charles Ginnever’s exhibition, Hellenic Series: Maquettes and Drawings, 1968–1986.
The exhibition marks the recent installation of Ginnever’s large-scale sculpture 4 the 5th (of Beethoven) in TurnPark’s Big Meadow. Created in 1974, the work inspired the beginning of the artist’s Hellenic Series.
Charles Ginnever’s sculptures can be found in many private and public collections and sculpture parks around the country, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Walker Art Center, Storm King, and The Smithsonian.
The evening will include a panel discussion exploring the work and legacy of Charles Ginnever, followed by light refreshments.
